Back to stitching
Well I haven’t been stitiching since Wednesday night due to circumstances, see my daily blog. So I have just finished doing the border on my new sample and have just finished doing a line of fern stitch. All these samplers will be simply stitches, worked in a traditional way. Tonight I am going to my little stack of sample materials I get from Michaels and Hobby Lobby on which I will work a variety stitches and beads depended on the sample pattern.
Below is the sample I finish just before the dog incident.
I struggle a lot with this sampler and I still wasn’t happy with the last stitch “scroll” but I decided that although it looked untidy at the beginning I had actually got the hang of the stitch so I let it be.
